Daily Life

I can’t believe that 2013 is over! What a whirlwind of a year it has been!
This past year has been wonderful.
spent a miserable couple of months on opposite sides of the country from each other
celebrated our one year anniversary
graduated (sort of) and drove across the country from Provo, Utah to Alexandria, Virginia
fell in love with DC Temple
traveled to all of the Smithsonians
spent Thanksgiving in NYC with my sister and brother-in-law
accepted a job with Accelereyes in Virginia
found us a place to live in Alexandria
took the LSAT for the 1st time
found out I’m allergic to at least 23 different foods
started a new blog
worked 3 different jobs while finishing school
spent months job hunting
worked briefly at Anthropologie (my dream sales job)
found out I need to take more online credits to finish my degree (boo…)
started my dream job as an editorial assistant at the National Academy of Science
With all of the changes that came this year, I can’t even begin to imagine how exciting this next year will be!
With the new start of the year, I have some goals for myself. Some of my goals are specific, others will take work and thinking to accomplish them. Here goes!
Happy New Year!

What a crazy year! I didn’t know your hubby wanted to do law -how did he do on the LSAT? My hubby just got his scores back – we’re hoping to go straight to law school after graduation in July.

Also what did he study at BYU? I’m guessing computer science or electrical engineering based on the company he’s working for…

I didn’t realize both our hubbys wanted to do law, too! He did well on the LSAT, but he wants to give it another go this next year so he has a better chance at making it into his top choice schools. We’ll wait to apply until next fall. And he actually studied American Studies, kind of a general political, economic, American history based class. It’s good prep for a law degree. He got his current job based on his jobs he had in college, which were more marketing based. He likes it!
