Alexandria Farmers Market | Triple Berry Cinnamon Swirl Bread

Last weekend, Aaron and I ventured out to the Alexandria Old Town Farmers Market! We biked down to Old Town, struggling up a few beastly hills but we love that part of town! Old Town is so quaint with its cobblestones, tiny streets, and fun stores!

The farmers market was beautiful, jam packed with different food vendors, artists, and florists. If I had limitless funds, I’d do all of my produce shopping there. It was so much fun!

I was in love with the peonies. No surprise there.

Next time I go, I’m determined to buy some beautiful tomatoes so I can trick Aaron into trying fresh tomatoes and perhaps grow to love them like I do! A girl can dream, right?

I ended up buying some raspberries and blueberries for Joy the Baker’s Baking Bootcamp Challenge! The raspberries were absolutely delicious, although there were a couple moldy ones at the bottom. Womp, womp. I’m sure that was just an exception! Besides, look how gorgeous and pink it is below! The triple berry cinnamon braid was delicious, although I severely underbaked it. I’m already planning on making it again in the near future so I can perfect it!
I know this blog sometimes sounds like a love letter to DC, but Alexandria has captured my heart as well.
