Rugspiration {Totally a Word}

Another Monday. Another week. We can do it! Woohoo!
Life is still interesting around here, but overall, I have to say that there’s a pretty nice balance to be found between the dark and the bright side.
The Dark Side                                                                   The Bright Side
Found a dying cochroach in the kitchen. – – – – – – – – – – – At least he was dying, not running around!
I haven’t found where his friends are lurking yet. – – – – – Maybe he was traveling alone?
Had to wake up early today to write a paper. – – – – – – – – My teacher cancelled another paper for Wednesday!
Found 2 small spiders in the apartment. – – – – – – – – – – – – I fixed my vacuum wand to kill ’em dead!
Cracked an egg this morning to find blood. Ew. – – – – – – Hopefully the chick is at peace in chicken heaven.
It could be worse, right? Let’s not go there. Every time I say that, something worse happens.
To add to the brighter news, Aaron and I decided on this beautiful golden rod shower curtain, and I ordered it this afternoon! I feel pretty lucky to have a husband that is OK with me buying pretty curtains from Pottery Barn! What a guy. I think this is really going to brighten up our new bathroom! Thanks for the comments with your input!
I’m toying with the idea of getting a new bathroom rug somewhere down the line. If I do, I’m thinking it should be a nice slate grey or navy blue. I’m loving these rugs matched with the golden rod. Gorgeous, right? After researching larger room-size rugs, I love looking at bathroom rugs I can get for $20!
1st row: onetwo | three

2nd row: four | five | six

15 days until I see Aaron! Hurray!

      You must have your Pottery Barn sniffer out. That one’s my favorite, too! Looks like I get my good taste from you :)
